What to Know
- Built to last – Many of our designs are engineered with durability and long-term performance in mind.
- Commercial use approved – These items are suitable for both residential and professional settings.

Is our product really made out of solid wood?
Yes — absolutely. All of our furniture is made using natural wood, primarily solid ash or solid oak, depending on the design and finish.
What That Means
- No shortcuts – If we say the tabletop is 40mm thick, it’s 40mm of solid wood throughout — not just along the edges.
- Natural materials only – We never use synthetic wood-look alternatives or filler cores.
- Built to last – Real wood gives every piece strength, authenticity, and long-term durability.
What About Veneer or Lamella?
Some designs do incorporate wood veneer or lamella panels — but not to reduce quality or cost. These are intentional choices, made to:
- Improve long-term performance and stability
- Prevent warping or cracking in large surfaces or door panels
- Ensure a cleaner, more consistent look where needed
These techniques are part of quality craftsmanship, used only where they make sense functionally and aesthetically.
At Verdant, we care about honesty in materials and transparency in design — so you always know exactly what you’re getting.
Do you actually use the best furniture hardware?
Yes — we use only premium hardware, and we’re proud to partner with Blum, the world’s leading hardware manufacturer.
Why Blum?
- Made in Austria – Renowned for precision engineering and long-term durability
- Award-winning design – Recognized globally for innovation, functionality, and reliability
- 25-year warranty – Every Blum component we use is backed by an industry-leading guarantee
Whether it’s a soft-close drawer or a perfectly aligned cabinet door, you’ll feel the difference every time you interact with your furniture.
At Verdant, we believe great design is in the details — and that includes what you can’t always see.
How do I care for my product?
Proper care helps your furniture stay beautiful and functional for years. Here’s how to maintain your wood, fabric, and leather pieces from Verdant.
Wood Care
- Wipe regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth — never soaking wet.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials.
- Maintain stable humidity (ideally 30–60%) to prevent cracking, warping, or splitting.
- Our wood is finished with a durable, clear protective coating that is stain-proof, heat-proof, and fade-resistant — no need for coasters or placemats.
- Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
Fabric Upholstery Care
- Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment.
- Spot clean with water and a clean cloth — most spills can be removed without soap.
- Avoid bleach or chemical cleaners.
- Our fabrics are highly durable, pet-friendly, and treated with antiviral protection.
- Fluff and rotate cushions to help maintain their shape.
Leather Care
- Dust with a dry cloth weekly.
- Wipe gently with a damp cloth as needed — avoid oversaturating.
- Apply leather conditioner once or twice a year to prevent drying and maintain softness.
- Keep away from direct sunlight or heat sources to avoid fading or cracking.

About furniture
Where is your furniture made?
We proudly manufacture all of our furniture in Ukraine, with the exception of select soft pieces such as sofas, lounge chairs, and upholstered headboards — but even those are made in Ukraine by trusted partners.
What That Means
- In-house manufacturing – We design and build most of our furniture ourselves, ensuring full control over quality and craftsmanship.
- European-made excellence – Every piece, whether made directly by us or by our upholstery partners, is crafted in Europe and meets strict quality and ethical standards.
- Transparency and pride – We stand behind where and how our furniture is made — and we’re proud to support skilled artisans and ethical production.
When you choose Verdant, you’re getting European-made furniture with integrity, durability, and timeless design.
How long does it take for my order to be made?
It depends on the product — some items are ready fast, while others are made just for you.
What to Expect
- In-stock or partially pre-made pieces – These may be available for quick delivery, especially if they’re already in Canada or require minimal finishing.
- Made-to-order items – Some of our furniture is crafted after your order is placed. Production + shipping from Europe can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the piece and customization.
What We Do to Help
- Personalized lead times – We can provide an accurate estimate for any specific product at the time of your order.
- Real-time updates – We stay in touch throughout the process with regular updates so you’re never left wondering.
- Industry insight – We often receive early intel on shipping delays or material shortages, and we’ll share those with you when relevant.
We know waiting for something special can feel like a lot — but we’re with you every step of the way to make the process smooth, transparent, and worth it.
