Ordering

Can I make a custom order?

Yes, absolutely. We are a manufacturer, so we are able to make your wishes come true. Contact our customer care team sales@verdantfurniture.ca and they will walk through the process of making a custom order and help you make the right choice. This will result in longer wait times of course, but our team will be in contact with you through the whole process to make it as easy and less stressful for you as possible. Any custom order is subject to no return due to its unusual sizes and such.

What are your delivery terms?

We offer free delivery on all orders. As of right now we do not ship outside of Canada, but are moving towards providing our services in the US as well.

If you would like to ship to Canadian Territories, reach out to our customer care team. And please note that an incremental fee may apply. 

Do you have assembly instructions?

Every piece of our furniture (if needs assembly) does come with very detailed assembly instructions. However, if you are still having issues assembling something, please do not hesitate and reach out to our customer care team. We will make sure to help you with any of your issues.

Can I negotiate a lower price?

We offer a straightforward and honest pricing model with markdowns for everyone on products we have overstocked, discontinued, or otherwise placed on clearance. These are first-come-first-served, in order to maintain fairness amongst our customers!

By providing the lowest price every day and scouring the competition to maintain prices, we build our integrity as a trusted local spot for the best furniture in Canada. We would rather provide everyday value to our customers than to markup products at double the price and then offer 50% off. That way, no one feels ripped off!

Do you offer financing?

Yes! We have partnered with Affirm to provide financing plans. While a deposit is required for custom orders, the remainder is available to be financed. The most popular financing plan is "6 months of no payment, no interest financing" through Affirm. If you have any questions, send us an email at sales@verdantfurniture.ca

Do you have a designer or builder program?

Please contact us at info@verdantfurniture.ca to inquire about our Trade Program. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any propositions.

Do you offer a warranty on your products?

Our warranty covers any confirmed imperfections in manufacturing or craftsmanship for up to two years, beginning the day your order arrives at your home.

Please note that our warranty only applies when products are used for their intended purposes and becomes void when our pieces are modified in any way. Defects or damages resulting from misuse, accidents, modifications, natural disasters (including water and fire), and regular wear and tear will not be covered by our warranty.

Solid wood pieces may experience warping, cracking, and splitting due to environmental conditions, such as changes in humidity. If these pieces have not been properly maintained as per our care recommendations, they will not fall under our warranty.

Fading, pilling, and staining of upholstery, compression of cushion fillings, and reasonable degrees of wear caused by everyday use and/or a lack of regular maintenance is not included in our warranty.

Our warranty is non-transferable, and does not extend to resale, second-hand, final sale or floor model pieces. It also does not apply to products that are used for commercial purposes, unless those products are listed as commercial grade.

Do you have commercial grade products?

Most of our products are commercial grade and can be used in commercial businesses and withstand the commercial use. To make sure you're choosing the right piece for your needs, read the “details” on the piece that you're interested in, or contact our customer care team.

Is our product really made out of natural wood?

Yes we really use natural wood for all of our products, either solid ash or solid oak. If we state that the table top is 40mm, it really is 40mm throughout not just the outer (visible) borders.

Do you actually use the best furniture hardware?

Yes, we are partnered with the best hardware company in the world “Blum”. This Austrian made product truly is the best in the world with many award winnings. They provide an astonishing 25 year warranty on all of their products.

How do I care for my product?

● The care of natural wood products is extremely simple. Just wipe the surface dry with a damp cloth. Our coating is not afraid of hot temperatures (a hot cup, for example), grease stains, wine, juices and more. However, please wipe them off immediately to avoid even the slightest damage. Wood can absorb liquids and this may cause deformation processes.

● Do not use abrasive materials or aggressive chemicals when cleaning. If the wood is damaged, it can be easily restored.

● The actual appearance of the products may slightly differ from the images presented on our page, mainly due to differences in wood color and texture. This is due to the properties of the material, as each wood plank is unique and unrepeatable.

Where is your furniture made?

We are a manufacturer of all of our furniture except for soft furniture (sofas, lounge chairs, soft header beds), even so, all of our furniture is manufactured in Ukraine. We're proud to offer a wide selection of European-made furniture which has been vetted for impeccable quality and high ethical standards.

How long does it take for my order to be made?

Depends on the product! Most pieces need to be manufactured and then shipped to Canada. Some furniture pieces are available quickly; these usually are partially pre-made to reduce manufacturing time or are geographically close by, reducing shipping times. 

That means lead times can vary anywhere from immediate availability (yay!) to up to 3 to 6 months (in the example of our custom-made products). We will be in contact with you throughout the process of making/receiving your order, so you will be getting constant updates on your order to make the order less stressful for you. We can provide an estimated lead time for every single product and frequently get insider information about certain delays or shortages across the industry.

Do you buy or sell used furniture?

No, we only sell brand new, high quality furniture. We do not buy used furniture.
