Crafted in Tradition, Warmed by Nature

The rug is handcrafted from natural sheep's wool. All our rugs are woven on looms using traditional techniques in the Ukrainian Carpathians, washed in mountain water, and dried in the fresh air. These rugs are called "lizhnyk" and can also be used as a bedspread, blanket, or throw.

Product Care

To preserve the natural beauty of your rug, shake it out regularly to keep the fibres fresh and dust-free. For small stains, gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding any soaking. Occasionally airing it outdoors helps maintain its natural freshness, while a professional dry cleaner familiar with wool is recommended for deeper cleaning. Keep your rug out of direct sunlight to prevent fading, and when storing, use a dry, breathable bag away from moths and moisture to protect its quality over time.
